Potable water, treated and purified at the Water Treatment Plant, is initially pumped into the Master Balancing Reservoirs (MBRs) located within the Activation Area.


These MBRs act as large storage tanks that help regulate and maintain a stable supply of potable water by balancing fluctuations in demand and ensuring consistent pressure throughout the distribution system. From these reservoirs, the potable water is then systematically distributed to Elevated Service Reservoirs (ESRs).
